Toilet Trees

So today is the day. Last day in the house in Springville ::Sniff::. Well I guess that is not a real reason to cry, Thanks to Wally and Jenny for lettings us come to live in the Peterson compound again. So in our last night in Springville we decided that we could take the time to go to a movie if we had the house mostly clean. I told Caitlyn that she would have to make sure that the clothes that she had left in her room from the last two days were picked up, as well as to make sure that she had all her toiletries together. This is when she paused and looked at me very serious and said: "Toilets don't grow on trees".

So I thought that I would throw up something on here while I had some down time at work. I am getting pretty excited as I am moving back to a day shift starting on Monday.

The day feels like it is just dragging today. I guess thats what happens when you work outside all day in the heat without enough water, but on the plus side the fence is now up around Bree's garden! I would say that I am going to add some pics on here, but we all know that I realy won;t get around to putting them up. LOL

WOOT I love New things

So my presentaion went very well. Work in general has been a little wired as of late. My position has been kind of up in the air as they are restructuring what it is that we are doing. I has been fun and challenging at the same time. So I had a friend who is the recruiter at work ask if I wanted to apply for a job in our workforce management team. This is the team that monitors the phone queues and moves people around to help cover where volume needs to be. Well after 2 weeks and a couple interviews I got the job. It looks like we are going to have to push of going to Oregon for a little while.

So I pull this up and holy crap I have put anything on here since the Tardis Pumpkin, or as I like to call it "Tarkin". So here I sit typing because I don;t want to go to bed. The reason is that I have to be to work extra early tomorrow. Those of you who know me know that I am not a morning person by an means and getting up early enough to drive to work and be there by 6a.m. just about kills me. On top of that I have a presentation that I have to present tomorrow that I am not really feeling like is in a finished state. Oh well what can you do. I

Oh yes I have started to paint little men (?),(?)

So quickly I just wanted to through up some shots of how far I have fallen into the realm of nerdom. I have started to play table top games. and I love it !! I am playing a game called Warhammer 40K. My great friend Jake has decided to pull me into this world of minis. For those who do not know Jake he is the husband of Bree's best friend Megan. So Megan's dad has been playin table top games with his buddies for nigh on 30 years or ther abouts. I have a great deal of distance to go to get to the level of painting that Lynn (Megan's dad) is at, but I will get there on day. Maybe 30 years from now. But I have finished some of my figures and am proud enough of them to show them here.

Wow time flys when you don't have any

Jeez time flies right on by when you don't have time to think. So many crazy things have happened since I last wrote on here. I guess the biggest thing is that I got a Promotion to lead. No big news here for most of you. This was a couple of months ago. I moved to a day shift at work, which is nice because I am home with Caity and Bree at night. I am not a morning person so that has been a bit of a challenge for me. I will survive I think. The crazy thing is that the Supervisor that I was working with jut got a promotion himself so I am now doing most of his job as well as mine. Life has been crazy. One cool thing that I was able to do is go to Chicago for eBay Live. A giant convention full of people who love eBay so much that they flock to a convention center for 3 days to learn all thing eBay. I worked here helping sellers better there listings and business strategies. It was a lot of fun! I think the greatest thing that I got to do while I was there is eat. Yes I know what you are thinking. The greatest thing is eat??!? Chicago has the best food that I have ever eaten. Yes I did have a slice of pizza why I was there but I am talking about little dinners, Chinese food that was so good I am salivating right now think about it. The only food that even comes close to this is Bree's cooking. The beef noodle bowl that she made tonight was every bit as good as what I had there.
